"SO WHO ARE YOU"? • This question was asked to John by some priests and Levites sent from the Jewish authorities. Prior to this time, the priests and Levites are like the ordained ministers who by law are the ones to carry out any form of "religious activities". So they had heard of this "rugged guy" who was baptising in Bethany on the east side of Jordan.... They wanted to know who HE WAS? Which table are you on? John's or the Jewish Authorities? — Do you sometimes perceive yourself more fit than others to carry out some certain "religious activities" because you've been to theology school and have been ordained a minister? Do you sometimes feel limited to exercise your God given skills, to go forth and impact souls because you feel you're not fit to where those shoes? — Okay, if there's one thing I know is that we've all been CALLED! Yes, as long as you're a child of God you've been given a mandate, a calling "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always [remaining with you perpetually--regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age.” MATTHEW 28:19‭-‬20 AMP — So why are we waiting for approval? Yes, we need to build ourselves up spiritually by meditating on God's Word, Communing with the Holy Spirit and being in constant relationship with the Trinity - but we're not meant to wait till we're ordained ministers to do so. NEWS FLASH! Some of us are called in the marketplace, in the business line, media, education etc to impact souls for the kingdom but we're too tied down thinking our work ends within the four walls of a building that when we serve in the choir or ushering department that's it. When we now enter our core place of ministry in the world we find ourselves lacking because we've not taken out time to inquire if the Lord where our place of influence is, or we're limiting our impact to only the church — DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE? — P. S I want this plate of ukwa #sundaysermon
As part of its efforts to drive citizens’ engagement in the democratic process and promote an issues-based presidential campaign, @CivicMonitor – a nonpartisan, not-for-profit organization – today launched its Know-Your-Candidates (KYC) tool – www.kyc.civicmonitor.com. KYC uses technology to present information on the various presidential candidates, their positions, promises and profiles, all in one place, to enable voters make more thoughtful and informed choices at the polls. “The most exciting thing about the KYC tool is the fact that voters can directly compare any two candidates on any issue of their choice, and the positions of the candidates would appear side-by-side for ease of comparison,” said Stanley Azuakola, the Founder and Executive Director of Civic Monitor. — I'm so excited about this one because it serves as a form of accountability checklist and also seeks to improve citizen's knowledge on a candidate. It also shows what a candidate manifesto looks like. I'm also excited cos my Oga, Stan Azuakola is taking a lead on it! — Amara Chukukere Becoming | Evolving | Impacting | • • • #TheAmarachicBrand #TheACProject #SocialImpactAdvocate #Devotions #love #vote #ElectionNoBeWar #VoteNotFight #WatchingTheVote #NigeriaDecides2019 #GeneralElections
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. I Corinthians 13:2 NKJV — If there's anything that has given me a push in life that has made me keep doing all I do is this scripture above... Truth is we might claim to love by showing it but deep down what rules our motives? — My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. I John 3:18 NKJV — nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:39 NKJV According to Billy Graham "This age in which we live could hardly be described as conducive to a sensitiveness of the needs of others. We have developed a veneer of sophistication and hardness. Abraham Lincoln once said, characteristically, “I am sorry for the man who can’t feel the whip when it is laid on the other man’s back.” Much of the world is calloused and indifferent toward mankind’s poverty and distress. This is due largely to the fact that for many people there has never been a rebirth. The love of God has never been shed abroad in their hearts. Many people speak of the social gospel as though it were separate and apart from the redemptive Gospel. The truth is: there is only one Gospel. We must be redeemed, we must be made right with God before we can become sensitive to the needs of others. Divine love, like a reflected sunbeam, shines down before it radiates out. Unless our hearts are conditioned by the Holy Spirit to receive and reflect the warmth of God’s compassion, we cannot love our fellowmen as we ought" — Amara Chukukere Becoming | Evolving | Impacting | • • • #TheAmarachicBrand #TheACProject #SocialImpactAdvocate #Devotions #love #valentinesday #TheCommsChic #TheChiefFamzer #TheTrinitysTruth #TheChocorizerChic #SavedToServe #TheGodFactorMakesTheDifference

With over 415 radio stations in about 23 languages, Radio is the oldest electronic medium – predating social media, streaming, the internet and even TV — it still remains relevant and resilient! 13 February is a date proclaimed by UNESCO to celebrate radio broadcast, improve international cooperation among radio broadcasters and encourage decision-makers to create and provide access to information through radio, including community radios. It’s an occasion to draw attention to the unique value of radio, which remains the medium to reach the widest audience and is currently taking up new technological forms and devices. UNESCO encourages all countries to celebrate this Day by undertaking activities with diverse partners, such as national, regional and international broadcasting associations and organizations, non-governmental organizations, media organizations, outlets as well as the public at large. According to @unesco "This day marks a time where people around the world celebrate radio and how it shapes our lives. Radio informs, transforms and unites us. It brings together people and communities from all backgrounds to foster positive dialogue for change. More specifically, radio is the perfect medium to counter the appeals for violence and the spread of conflict, especially in regions potentially more exposed to such realities. On that basis, World Radio Day 2019 will celebrate the theme of “Dialogue, Tolerance and Peace”. Broadcasts that provide a platform for dialogue and democratic debate over issues, such as migration or violence against women, can help to raise awareness among listeners and inspire understanding for new perspectives in paving the way for positive action. Radio programming can also build tolerance and surpass the differences separating groups by uniting them under common goals and causes, like ensuring education for one’s children or addressing local health concerns" So thankful to be given the opportunity to share my ideas and views on radio platforms like Greetings FM, Love FM; etc. I do hope to start hosting my own talkshow soon! Meanwhile, Let's celebrate! — 📷 @timeanddate References - IASA, UNESCO. Amara Chukukere™
I tried to study #Mathematics & Economics for my BSc in the University so I think I qualify for women in #STEM. LOL! • Big thumbs up to the those who do great things in promoting girls and women inclusion in #STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics. Shout to @msabisoye for the work she does @pearlsafrica — Reposted from @shpinitiative - Science and gender equality are both vital for the achievement of the internationally agreed development goals, including the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Over the past 15 years, the global community has made a lot of effort in inspiring and engaging women and girls in science. Yet women and girls continue to be excluded from participating fully in science. At present, less than 30 per cent of researchers worldwide are women. According to UNESCO data (2014 - 2016), only around 30 per cent of all female students select STEM-related fields in higher education. Globally, female students’ enrolment is particularly low in ICT (3 per cent), natural science, mathematics and statistics (5 per cent) and in engineering, manufacturing and construction (8 per cent). Long-standing biases and gender stereotypes are steering girls and women away from science related fields. As in the real world, the world on screen reflects similar biases—the 2015 Gender Bias Without Borders study by the Geena Davis Institute showed that of the onscreen characters with an identifiable STEM job, only 12 per cent were women In order to achieve full and equal access to and participation in science for women and girls, and further achieve gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls, the United Nations General Assembly adopted resolution A/RES/70/212 declaring 11 February as the International Day of Women and Girls in Science cc @unitednations @unwomen — It's World #InternationalSTEMDay celebrating #girls and #women in #science #technology #engineering and #mathematics — 📷 @pearlsafrica — Amara Chukukere Becoming | Evolving | Impacting — #TheAmarachicBrand #TheCommsChic #TheChiefFamzer #TheChocorizerChic #SocialImpactAdvocate #SocialDevelopment #TheACProject #girlpower #girlsinstem #womeninstem #womenempowerment #regra
"tear down this temple and I will build it in three days.... " Jesus Christ said. The Jewish Authorities looked at him in spite and disbelief, like who are you to say you'll build what took 64 years to build in just 3 days! — Jesus demonstrated the importance of keeping your temple in John 2:13-22. Now we've been told by the bible "...your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself..." 1 Corinthians 6:19 NLT Now what's a temple? It can be referred to as a place regarded as holy or devoted likened to worship of a God. By now you're like, hmm, don't go there! I know you want to talk about sexual immorality? Well outsides that, do you also know that your bodies are meant to be subjected to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Eg. When situations around provoke you to react in a certain way, you can decide not to... Or when the Holy Spirit is trying to minister to you but there's so much chaos in your temple, so much buying and selling, the issues of yesterday, the worries of today, the thoughts of tomorrow create so much tension that it makes it so difficult for God to lead you and show you a way of escape... Do you also know that we spend so much time devoting to other physical activities like yoga, fitness, skin therapy etc to our bodies that we slightly miss it. Are these wrong? Oh NO! In fact, I'm an advocate for body fitness. — What is happening in your temple? Have the trials and temptations settled down comfortably with no intentions of taking a vacation? Your temple is so busy with the things that don't matter that you've neglected the purpose of its original goal which is to worship God! Is your temple being used for other motives instead of the original plan since creation? When you notice that something isn't right you take necessary actions to making it right! That's how it's meant to be with our spiritual work! — P. S. This is inspired to me by the Holy Spirit during my Bible study time. Thought to share. — Amara Chukukere Becoming | Evolving | Impacting | — Study. Learn. Become. — #Selah #TheChurchIsUs #TheBookOfJohn #TheCommsChic #TheChiefFamzer #TheAmarachicBrand

#FGM Female Genital Mutilation violates #humanrights and it must NEVER be performed. It has NO health benefits according to @who only harm. It can have devastating physical, psychological and social consequences for #women and #girls There are many possible complications that can arise from FGM surgeries, ranging from pain, infection, and excessive bleeding, to death. Even when performed “correctly” or by a medical professional, there are huge risks. Some myths below have been said to back this act 1. FGM is a one standard procedure. 2. Only teenagers undergo the surgery as a rite of passage. 3. Girls understand and choose to undergo the procedure. 4. It's not that common - at least, not anymore. 5. The procedure is performed by medical practitioners. 6. If the surgery is performed correctly, there's no long term physical damage. 7. It is possible to perform the procedure so that it doesn't harm girls. 8. It's a religious tradition. 9. It is done for health reasons. 10. It only happens in developing countries. 11. It is comparable to male circumcision. 12. Women who have undergone FGM cannot experience sexual pleasure. (In some cultures and communities that support #FGM, it is believed that women should not experience sexual pleasure and that #FGM keeps girls "pure" by preventing them from enjoying sex....) • • Learn more, new blog post link in the bio👆🏾 • • • Amara Chukukere Becoming | Evolving | Imapcting — #TheCommsChic #TheChiefFamzer #SavedToServe #SocialImpactAdvocate #TheGodFactorMakesTheDifference #TheChocorizerChic #TheTrinitysTruth #womenempowerment #girls #blogger #socialimpact
"Contentment is not about fame or being well-known, how much money you have, your position at work or your social circle. It's not found in your level of education or what side of the tracks you were born on. Contentment is a heart attitude. There's nobody happier than a truly thankful person, a truly content person. The word content means 'being satisfied to the point where nothing disturbs you no matter what's going on, but not satisfied to the point that you never want any change.' We all want to see things get better. But where you are right this minute doesn't have to disturb you. You can choose to believe that God is working and things are changing, and you will see the result of it in due time. Life is all about the choices we make, so choose contentment and satisfaction every single day of your life. You won't go wrong when you do." - #JoyceMeyer Prayer Starter: God, I want to be content and satisfied with where I am, right here, right now. Give me the strength to choose to be content every single day. • • • If there's anything I've learnt in this life is how to stay put in my "corner" and be satisfied with what I have because all isn't what it seems, nobody has it all so easy and put together. Contentment I think is a virtue...
