“Amarachic! What type of question is this? Is it that you don’t want my happiness? Me that I’ve been praying and hoping for a change of levels, promotion that I’ve been waiting for since? This question no follow (Doesn’t add up!)” Well follow me 👇🏾

📌 DO YOU REALLY WANT THIS JOB? Ever heard job interviewers ask this question.
DO YOU REALLY WANT TO GO ON WITH THIS BUSINESS? Have you heard investors ask this question?
📌 The truth is in as much as we’re hoping for a change, sometimes we are not as prepared to embrace what will come after. So let’s say we get promoted – the work now becomes times 4 of what our previous role entailed, have we built enough capacity to handle it? Can we sustain it? During a sermon by Pastor Biodun, I was made to understand from this scripture the importance of the question Jesus asked this man. As a beggar, who knows he must have been fed, looked upon with pity and “catered for” but once he becomes whole, a new set of responsibility kicks in; he now has to fend for himself, go back home and face the disappointment he received from his family members; even the Jewish leaders didn’t find it funny they wanted him back to his former position 😂
📌 So the question remains are we ready for it? Are we ready to defend the next phases of our lives? – Note To Self
