HOW TO TREAT AND PREVENT WHITE HEAD

By aezhyorganicskincare

Hi guys,

Due to popular demand I’m going to be talking about how to treat and and prevent whiteheads

Whiteheads develop when dead skin cells, oil and dirt clog your pores. Unlike blackheads, which can be pushed out, white heads are closed within the pore. This can make treatment a bit more challenging.

Here are some remedies that really worked for me that I would like to share with you

FACIAL STEAM

A person affected by whiteheads can try boiling water, putting it in a bowl and then holding the affected area of their body over the bowl. In case if the head and neck area, the can create a steam tent by putting a towel over their head to concentrate the steam into their upper body.

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR

This helps reduce inflammation and has antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. 2 tablespoons of this mixed with 8 ounce of warm water can be applied directly to the affect area and levy for 2mins (I’ll recommend you buy Bragg apple cider). This routine can be repeated whenever the face is washed.

LEMON JUICE

This is my favorite home remedy cos it also has lightening properties. It is acidic in nature and works to dry out the skin and soak up excess oil. It can be used diluted (I prefer mine this way) or undiluted with equal parts of water. It can be applied with a cotton wool on the face and left on for 20 minutes.

HONEY

This has powerful antibacterial properties. It’s sticky, thick quality also means it smothers pores and stays in place, allowing it to seep deep into the skin. It can be used by heating a tablespoon of honey until it’s slightly warm to the touch. After the skin has been cleaned, the warmed honey can be applied directly and left on for 15 mins.

ALOE VERA

This is another plant based ingredient. It can be used with lemon. Gently peel of the gel and mash with a fork until you get a gel paste. Combine with one tablespoon of lemon apply on a clean face as a mask. Leave for 15 minutes.

SALICYLIC ACID

This is an astringent. It can lead to decreased oil production and can help to push the material in clogged pores.Because it may cause irritation and dryness it’s best to start by using the treatment once a day.

GREEN TEA

Tea-bags can treat the skin by opening pores. It also contains plenty of antioxidants that reverse the free radical damage that the skin has suffered. Simply place a used tea bag on the whitehead for 10-15 minutes.

GARLIC

This a natural antiseptic that can get rid of bacteria present in the whiteheads and unclog them ( I bet you never knew this right). Crush the garlic in 1-2 tablespoon of water and leave this aside for a few minutes. Use a cotton pad and wipe away the garlic water with rose water. Repeat once in every 2-3 days.

WAYS TO PREVENT WHITE-HEADS

a. Try not to touch the area

b. Avoid the use of hair products on your skin

c. Wash face before bed and remove any make-up

d. Try not to scrub or aggressively cleanse the skin

e. Shower or bath regularly

f. Avoid places with high air pollution or increase skin hygiene if exposed to heavy hair pollution

g. Never share makeup or applicators. If you have to, make sure they are thoroughly washed and sterilized .

I hope I have been of tremendous help with my skincare tips and I would like to hear from your experience….

Thanks for listening!
