THE COST OF IMAGE

Feb 20, 2018 | Talk Tuesday

Tricia sobbed.

Nana Micheals held unto her, “God can restore you,” she said softly.

“I’ve got this!” Trish replied. “I can do this, I don’t need nobody!”

“Oh that’s great,” Nana smiled “Because God ain’t a ‘body’.”

“As the clay is in the Potter’s hand, so are you in My hand.” Jeremiah 18:6 NKJV.

She looked into Nana’s eyes and she knew she cared for her deeply but how could she tell her all that transpired between her and bankole? How she agreed to follow him on the business trip and endes up tripping foolishly into his schemes, oh Tricia, why?

She had put up an image already, young professionals and ladies all lookedup to her, how can she come to terms with all that happened… No! How could she have never known he’s married, how? Oh my, but he hid it so well and didn’t literally make her do it but then he did.

“Who should I blame now for this”? Tricia asked herself. Only for me to find out that he’s all a scam! “For the gram kinda dude”? Ah! temi bami kpe no! Ah!

This is not a God matter.

Tricia stood up and reached for the windows “Nana”, she said sobbingly, how can I come out of this, it’s killing me.”

“Let go, release yourself to God, let it all out, then wait on Him”.

Tricia sobbed harder.
