Leading Scripture: “Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock and it will be opened to you.” (Matt 7:7 NASB)
Sometimes, people get discouraged in life because things didn’t turn out the way they hoped. Maybe they put energy into a relationship, but it didn’t work out. They tried a new business venture, but they are still struggling with their finances. Now they think it’s never going to happen. But one thing we have to learn is that God honors perseverance. On the way to your “yes”, you may encounter some “no’s”. You may encounter some closed doors, but that doesn’t mean it’s the final answer. It just means “keep going”.
Remember, if God promised it, He’s going to bring it to pass. Scripture tells us that through faith and patience inherit God’s promises. This is where patience and perseverance comes in. This is where trust comes in. Just because you don’t see things happen right away doesn’t mean you should quit. No, instead, rise up and press forward. Keep believing, keep hoping, keep enduring, keep asking because God is always faithful to His Word!
“Father, thank you for Your faithfulness in my life. I choose today to believe Your Word. I choose to trust Your promises. I choose to keep standing, keep believing and keep asking because I will receive in Jesus’ name! Amen!”.

I’ve realized that one of success factors is perseverance and patience. The ability to hold on despite the difficulties. It’s a rare virtue.
I’m currently believing God for something big, yup. And at times, I get weak. Why? It seems it’s taking longer than usual, why should it, when others are getting answers? I’m reminded in His word not to give up, that His promises are yea and Amen! I keep studying and meditating on His promises for me, I keep singing, and still allow the tears drop, I keep writing and making the plans, still try to maintain the right attitude through the leading of the Holy Spirit, I communicate with awesome friends, it’s super tempting but I still engage.
Do the shoes above fit? Well, these people we see getting their answers now, have also waited, prayed, believed, cried and hoped until it arrived. How do you go through this path to your yes? Do you pray with some one, cry etc. How do you overcome the downtimes and weary days? Feel free to share as someone might just be needing this.
Always a pleasure hearing from you. Send us an email – firstname.lastname@example.org
